Mindful movement yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes awareness, presence, and gentle, intentional motion rather than performance or intensity. It blends traditional yoga poses with mindfulness practices, helping you stay mentally engaged with how your body feels as you move. At its core, it’s about how you move, not how advanced the pose is. What makes it “mindful”? Instead of rushing through poses, you: • Pay attention to your breath and synchronize it with movement • Notice sensations in your body (stretch, tension, balance) • Move slowly and deliberately • Stay mentally present rather than distracted How it differs from other yoga styles Compared to faster or more fitness-focused styles like Vinyasa Yoga or Power Yoga: • It’s slower and less intense • There’s less focus on calorie burn or complex poses • More emphasis on relaxation and body awareness It shares similarities with Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, but with a stronger focus on moment-to-moment awareness. Cancellation Policy

🌙 Veena & The Moon – Booking & Cancellation Policy Applies to all classes, workshops, ceremonies, and events To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone and to honour the time and energy that goes into preparing each session, please read our booking policy below: ✨ Booking All classes, ceremonies, and events must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but pre-bookings are prioritised. Payment must be completed at the time of booking to secure your place. ✨ Cancellations Regular Classes (Yoga, Meditation, Lunchtime Sessions) Cancellations or rescheduling are allowed up to 12 hours before class. Cancellations made after the 12-hour window are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. Ceremonies, Workshops, Cacao Ceremonies, Tarot Events, Special Sessions Due to preparation, materials, and limited spaces, cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours before the event. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another person at no extra charge. Please contact us to update the booking. ✨ Late Arrivals Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Late arrivals may not be admitted, especially for ceremonies or quiet classes, to avoid disruption. Late entry does not extend the session time. ✨ Transfers Can’t make it? You are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member at no extra cost. Just email us their name so we can update the booking. ✨ Minimum Numbers Some classes or ceremonies require a minimum number of participants. If we need to cancel due to low numbers, you will be offered: ✔ a full refund ✔ or the option to transfer to another date. ✨ Health & Wellbeing Please let your instructor/facilitator know of any injuries, medical conditions, or allergies. You participate at your own responsibility and are encouraged to listen to your body. Our sessions are complementary wellness experiences and do not replace professional medical or mental health care. ✨ Refunds Refunds are only issued according to the timeframes above. No refunds for missed sessions, late arrivals, or unused bookings. In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, emergencies), please contact us directly.
